Booking and Deposit

 

Booking Confirmation: To secure your makeup appointment, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. Your appointment will be considered confirmed only upon receipt of this deposit. This deposit is not transferable to another person.

 

Callout Fee: The costs in the callout fee included cost of travel, cost of vehicle running costs and administration fees. For further details, please see section Callout Fee below.

 

Deposit Payment: The deposit can be paid through bank transfer. Simply Stunning will provide you with payment instructions.

 

Deposit Deduction: The deposit amount will be deducted from the total cost of your makeup services on the day of the appointment.

 

Appointment Details

 

Date and Time: The date and time of your hair and/or makeup appointment will be agreed upon during the booking process. Please arrive promptly at the scheduled time.

 

Location: Makeup services will be provided at the location specified during booking unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

 

Cancellation and Rescheduling

 

Cancellation by Client: If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify Simply Stunning at least 6 (six) months in advance. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. However, if you provide sufficient notice, the deposit may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment within one calendar year.

 

Rescheduling by Client: If you have to postpone your booking, we are happy to transfer your deposit to the new date within one (1) year of the original date, strictly subject to availability. If we are unavailable on the new date or if the new date is more than one (1) year after the original date, your booking fee is not refundable or transferable. Prices are subject to change for the new postponed date.

 

Cancellation or Rescheduling by Simply Stunning: In the unlikely event that the Simply Stunning needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment for reasons beyond their control (e.g., illness, emergency), every effort will be made to accommodate you with a new appointment date and time. If a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, the deposit will be refunded in full.

Wedding Service Prices

​

All wedding prices stated on the website are to include a minimum of one bride and two (2) or more in the bridal party requiring services. If you are requiring pricing for two (2) or less people, please contact us for a custom quote.

 

Service Details

 

Client's Responsibilities: The client is responsible for providing accurate information about allergies, skin sensitivities, or any other relevant health concerns. Please also ensure a clean and well-lit workspace for the hair and/or makeup appointment.

 

Service Duration: Simply Stunning will provide an estimated duration for the hair and/or makeup application. Please allow adequate time for the service to be completed. Simply Stunning is not obligated to stay and do additional touch-ups once the services are completed. If you require this additional service, please advise when finalising your booking.

 

Additional Services: Any additional services requested on the day of the appointment that were not previously discussed and agreed upon will incur extra charges.

Callout Fee

​

The callout fee is calculated at $1.00 per kilometre for the return journey. This covers fuel and vehicle usage. As our hair stylist and makeup artist live in different towns, we do carpool to reduce the travel costs and carbon emissions. Please see Travel Costs for a detailed breakdown of costs to locations that we travel to regularly. If the location of your wedding is not listed, please contact us for travel costs.

The callout fee also includes an hourly for travel time for each artist as this is time we cannot take other work. The hourly rate is $25.00 + GST per artist. If your venue is more than three (3) hours travel, overnight accommodation will be required.

A administration fee of $25 + GST is added to the callout fee.

​

Simply Stunning do have a salon which can be utilised for providing wedding services if wish to avoid paying the whole callout fee. The salon is located at 61 Main Street, Fairlie. If you choose to utilise this location, there will be a callout fee for the hairstylist (if required) to travel from their residence to Fairlie. The callout fee will be $134.00 + GST. This includes $84.00 + GST for travel costs and one (1) hour of travel time for the hairstylist.

Public Holiday and Sunday Surcharge

​

We are happy to try and be available for clients during public holidays and Sundays, however this is time away from our families, so a 15% surcharge + GST will apply on the total amount.

Early Start Surcharge

​

A $40.00 + GST surcharge is payable per artist per hour for any early start morning start before 9am with a minimum charge of $40.00 + GST. This includes either artist having to leave their residence before 9am to travel to your wedding location.

Trials

​

Trials are non-refundable upon completion. We offer bridal trials on Monday - Friday at the salon located at 61 Main Street, Fairlie.

Changes to Booking Numbers

​

We are happy to provide amended quotes if you need to increase/reduce the number of people receiving services (there must be a genuine reason for the change, not just a change of mind). Simply Stunning reserves the right to decrease or increase the costs of services for the original quote. Any services not required less than fourteen (14) days prior to the booking date will incur a 50% charge of the original cost of the service being cancelled. Any services no longer required less than seven (7) days prior to the booking date will be charged in full. We have accepted your booking based on the numbers quoted for and have made our services unavailable to other clients.

Payment

 

Final Payment: The remaining balance of the hair and/or makeup service fee, excluding the deposit, is due seven (7) days before the day of the appointment. Payment can be made in cash or bank transfer.

 

Refund Policy

 

Deposit Refunds: The deposit is non-refundable except as stated in section Cancellations and Refunds regarding cancellations and rescheduling. Once services are completed, no refunds will be provided for the makeup application.

 

Client Satisfaction: If you are dissatisfied with the hair and/or makeup application for any reason, please communicate your concerns to the Simply Stunning during the appointment so that adjustments can be made.

The client agrees that Simply Stunning may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the Simply Stunning website and social media pages.

 

Liability

 

Allergies and Reactions: Simply Stunning will take reasonable precautions to ensure the products used are safe for your skin. However, it is the client's responsibility to inform Simply Stunning of any known allergies or sensitivities. Simply Stunning will not be held liable for any adverse reactions.

 

Limitation of Liability: Simply Stunning will not be liable for any injury, damage, or loss of personal property that may occur during the hair and/or makeup application or while traveling to/from the appointment location.

 

By booking and paying a deposit for hair and/or makeup services with the Simply Stunning, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Simply Stunning reserve the right to cancel any booking and provide email notification of doing so if a booking is in breach of our terms and conditions.
